Thank God for Mr. Archdeacon and him giving the team some coverage heading into the bowl game
Great article, though the stated location of the Snoop Dog Arizona Bowl is incorrect.
Nice article. Curious what Brett is planning on doing after graduation, the Miami site says he’s a Sports Leadership/Management major so I’m guessing something in the industry. With his brother’s connections he could probably get a start in coaching or lot media if he wants.
Excellent article - I intend to send a note to the author thanking him for this article
I hope the team reads that article. He deserves nothing less than going out on a winner.
Can’t read it - behind a pay wall.
I wish Brett all the best and wish him well in the future. When he was injured, I remember the Toledo players’ reaction was the scariest part.
I had a lot of respect for Coach Candle and his team for the way they handled Mr
Gabbert’s injury. They were clearly discomfitted and concerned for his well being to the exclusion of anything else.
They did not even use the injury time the way coaches usually do. They allowed their young men to kneel and, “mourn” is a ridiculously strong wourd but not far from the truth. They didn’t insist that their players huddle up and use it as a defacto time out.
