You trying to keep people away? I’m seeing 15%…?
Here’s what the Weather Channel is posting this afternoon in its widget. It’s also on the radar of the National Hurricane service now as a hurricane on the Louisiana coast mid week.
Yeah - I’m Baghdad Bobing that and sticking with 15%.
As long as we actually do destroy the Bearcat tanks at the gates of Oxford, I’m all in regardless of the weather.
In 2001, there was a drought in Oxford similar to the one that’s going on in Ohio now. For two consecutive Fridays, the remnants of hurricanes came up from the Gulf and drenched Oxford. Never affected a home game, it was just sunny and calm on Saturday afternoons.
Let’s see what happens
I’ll be there regardless. I sat out at Huskies games in Seattle and Corvallis in oversized Hefty bags.
Bought more tix today and a LOT have moved over the past wk - good sign. Only upper half of outer 2 sections have much availability. If decent walk-up it should be a sellout.
I hope the students show up in big numbers!
I tried to buy general admission tickets today, but couldn’t
Chance of rain Saturday continues to drop - now at 24%.
Show up, RedHawks!
All the big accounts student follow (i.e. barstool RedHawks) seem to be promoting this game a lot more than any other one in past years. I think it will be good attendance.
Stoked for the game!
Sell out Redhawks!
Bought my ticket yesterday, looking forward to driving 10hrs back to Oxford on Friday
As of right now ~6k student tickets have been claimed, no clue how many actually make it in the gates though

I would guess a lot of people claim on the day before/day of
I was in Millett today, and was told that the request for student tickets is the largest amount since Miami switched to the current system for students.
Hope we don’t get a lightening delay.
What is the new system? I just had to walk up and tap my ID from 2012-16, though capacity crowds for football/basketball were never close to being an issue at that time (and hey didn’t even bother checking us in the band).
I remember the athletic department trying to break the student football attendance record of 8900ish a few times, but never came very close. This time we have a shot.
Yep. Looking less likely.
I was there for the one we got during the Indiana State game. Moved everyone to Millett for two hours.
Went back afterwards and finished the game.
