Anyone know how it is going vs last year? I keep checking the Ticket master app and they have three sections essentially sold out but since I dont have my tickets from Miami distributed yet that could just be a hold until Miami is done selling and not reflective of actual tickets sold

It appears that the 104-108 area is the Miami side. The Miami ticket office gave us seats in 106.
The coolest seat in the building is section 106, row 12, seat 16.

Dick you said that it was the biggest Miami contingent ever at the MACC. Was that from inside sources. It was hard for me to get a feel from my seats. How did it look on tv
That was just a consensus of the gang I was sitting with, but I have been at all 6 games we have played there.
We were looking at the fact that we had more sections full than OU.
They showed very few fan shots during the course of the broadcast. To me it didn’t look as full as it was last year. I think the announced yesterday was a little more than 15k. I believe we had over 20k in the house last year.
The Taco Bell Live Mas Student Section shots definitely favored Ohio. The shot of the Bobcats section showed about 20 rows of students.The Miami shot showed just a single tow of students lined up in the rail.

There was certainly fewer in total than last year. I am sure Toledo had way more than Ohio

A little shorter trip from Toledo than from Athens.That probably explains a drop off…
It certainly did not appear as full as last year.
I have no data on this, but I thought it was at least a slightly worse turnout than our last 2 appearances (2019 and 2023) where our section spilled over into sections adjacent to the designated Miami sections. It’s also hard to judge because the Miami section would have made a perfectly functional monastery from the 2nd quarter on.
