Random thoughts: 22-3 difference in free throw points…Only 7 Ohio U fouls for entire game…

At this point OU considers this automatic…like UC does in football. Never thought we’d end up like this…but here were are, getting Snoopy’d.

We are struggling to maintain the 8th spot in the MAC. I don’t like this

Note: OU has SEVEN players on their roster 6-8 or above.

Miami went into the game a 10 1/2 point dog. Funny how these things work out.

Miami has 10 players 6-7 or taller on its roster…most don’t play or contribute…

Ohio can play inside out to get their 3 pt attempts. Miami’s roster lacks a true back to the basket threat.

Vander Plas looked like a guard against our bigs. If they came out to guard him, he’d blow right by them, if they gave him space he drained threes. And long threes too. Not sure how you haven’t figured out how to guard him at this point.

Yah think, LOL…when Jack Owens was hired (coming from B10) I thought for sure we’d have some skilled big forwards, ala VanderPlas, even a true Power Forward like Dwight Wilson, (6-8 250) who’s not even playing this year…think about this, OU pulled away, never in question, with a hurt BVP, no Jason Carter and no Dwight Wilson.

Yeah some of our guys are not 100%…but Sears and BVP made guys looked like they did not belong on the same floor.

Our coaching and roster is deficient, that’s no secret (so is our bench-at the top)…but playing OU shows you how far behind were are…that is a real bball roster (OU) that can compete at any level.

PS…I have hope for Harrison if he can get control of his growth…hands/coordination.

Miami: Three wins in 40 attempts vs Ohio U and Toledo says it all (3, yes 3).
