I finally got around to watching the replay of this game ( was driving to Nevada). The first half was the best offense the girls have played all year. We shot 65%. However, NKU was shooting well too. Our lack of depth got us again. We really have only 6 girls good enough to play at this level and one of them, our transfer from Bradley, did not play. All our starters played over 30 minutes, and Wolf went 39. In the second half Wolf slowed down and Peyton Scott, who scored 17 in the first half looked “ dead” and only added 2 more points.
We have two back to back home games coming up on Friday and Saturday vs Bradley and Oakland. Hope we have everybody healthy as these are winnable games if we are at full strength.
