According to this site so far 27 OHL players have committed to NCAA teams for 2025. No other NCHC team has dipped into the OHL so far.
Wow…that’s an interesting list of three goalies I would’ve never linked on my own. Good for them though.
Not sure if you mean OHL or CHL which is comprised of the OHL, WHL, and QMJHL, but while we’re the only ones with an OHL guy, Omaha has 3 out of the Q and one from the WHL, Denver just picked up a stud out of the WHL, and ASU has a couple from the WHL. NCHC teams are definitely recruiting from the CHL.
Side note: the winner of the CHL lottery so far appears to be BUGS. They have seven (7!) CHL players coming in next year, none of whom appear to be NHL guys, but nearly all would likely have signed ECHL or AHL deals at the end of this season. Think about Denver or Nodak playing the Cyclones or Walleye straight up. This CHL deal is a game changer for the CCHA.

Red Savage is a great kid from a great Miami hockey family. Hate to see this injury.

Back in the day Ryan and Red said that Miami was the plan…
but that changed,unfortunately and understandably at the time.
