Are you in Europe? Some websites devices it was easier to just block EU residents than actually implement the data protection laws. They’re really not that hard to implement in 2023 and not implementing it is borderline unethical to me.

I just changed the server on the ol’ VPN and could read the article, but yes, currently in Europe.
