I don’t know what happened to Perry about two weeks ago, but it sure seems like something clicked and he has been playing great ball ever since.
After Trey got more PT and the coaching staff placed confidence in him, he really took off. As I said last year, this freshmen class is special. Always stated Kirby would be a stud, but I was super optimistic about Perry as well. He’s killing it now.
I am so excited about the prospects of this team going forward.
Definitely a deep team!

Team puts the ball in your hands tied with 10 seconds left at Western and you hit a game winner … Trey’s confidence had to skyrocket. He was already starting to play better before then but that is a real turning point.

We finished that game I believe with 2 true freshman on the court- Perry and Kirby!

Perry has always had the confidence but now he seems to have a great feel for attacking.

There’s a reason Perry wasn’t redshirted. Kirby was coming off an injury IIRC, but Perry is shining right when we needed him during Luke’s injury bug.
