Not surprised that we’re still having issues scheduling high majors, but I’m really hoping we find a few good mid majors this season. The NET discourages that outside of MTEs so I’m not the most optimistic, but that plus four extra MAC games would go a long way to improving from what we had to settle for this past season.

Cry harder, sorry excuse for a troll.

This isnt even true. We were 1-1 vs ncaa power 4 conference teams. We were 7 point underdogs to SMU and won by 10. We were 12.5 pt underdogs to Tennessee and lost by 22.

Your constant inability to construct a normal sentence (subject, verb, object with correct grammar and spelling) is either:

  1. a reflection of your overall intellect
  2. if intentional, a very poor way to interact with us on this board
But, you got my reply and, if that’s what you’re seeking, you’ve scored a point for doing so.

I hope Travis stays at Miami long enough to see his kids graduate from Miami and he being able to hand them their diplomas.

You have more than worn out your welcome on this Board of true Miami alums and supporters. Suggest you take your negativity elsewhere, Theman. Your “act” is really getting old.

Are we due for the 2nd half of any “home-and-home” games this season? ODU and Marshall (suck it, Herd) were obviously part of the MAC/SBC challenge and we played at Air Force after hosting them the year before. Are we supposed to head to Mercyhurst, UAPB, and/or Maine? Or were those all buy games? Are UNC-Asheville and/or EKU coming to Millett?

Just as a big middle finger to our critics, we should schedule return games against Indiana East, Milligan, and Trinity Christian (automatic win since the school is folding).

I believe Extra Points in their Miami article showed that Maine was a buy game, I’d be shocked if UAPB and Mercyhurst weren’t as well.

Since the MAC is going to 22 game schedule how many openings do we have - I recall seeing we are going to a tourament in Vegas

Theman is just an “energy vampire.” Here’s a video of him posting on various other websites…

Steele previously said that we have the following already “scheduled” for 26-27 season out of 32 regular season games:

  • 22 MAC Games
  • 2 MTE games in Vegas
  • 2 Sun Belt Games TBD
  • 2 Return Home Games: EKU & NC Asheville
  • 1 Non-D1 home game as always I assume?
  • 3 left to schedule–probably all road games since we have 15 home + 2 neutral already

Miami signed a contract in June of 2025 for 2 games with Wright State. 2025 at Wright State and 2026 at Millett.

perfect! one more to the home ledger!

If Steele had his way, we’d probably play two road high major buy games and one road mid/major home-and-home. Knowing the current landscape, I’m guessing we’ll play zero and two respectively rounded out by a non-DI home game.

Some opponents that will have Miami/Steele ties, any others besides Coop and Owens? It won’t overcome the NET by any means but it’s something while we’re grasping at straws

  • Santa Clara (Sendek)
  • Illinois State (Pedon)
  • Cleveland State (Summers)
  • Dayton (Henderson)

I heard directly from one of these coaches that he would “love to play Miami,” and he has tried to play Miami for 3 years.
