State of Ohio Proposed Flag Planting Law

Of course this only applies at Ohio Stadium. Screw the rest of the state’s colleges and universities, just Tosu. Those poor cry babies.

Shitting in the middle of the field at Ohio Stadium is not prohibited in this proposed law! Not that I am advocating that as it probably violates some other law, but just pointing it out! A flaw in drafting!

Chuckle.

Won’t have to worry about it vs. Tennessee!

Typical grandstanding.

Yeah, the idea of making that a felony is stupid, but I don’t have a problem with the conference or the NCAA banning it.

I’m picturing how that would go over if that was tried in hockey.

We used to “scalp the ice” after road sweeps. Until a Donnybrook resulted at Michigan State when we tried to take the ice shavings from Munn home with us.

Funny how they propose this after the Ohio state Michigan fiasco but not after Cincinnati did it to Yager

I know the guy. I’ll ask him about it.

If a UC player plants a flag at Yager Stadium and no one is there to see it, is it against the law?

As written, putting a flag at the 50 at Ohio Stadium would mean more prison time than the most common domestic violence charges. Glad we’ve got our priorities straight.

Lotsa chicklets

The State of Ohio v Mike Sainristil. Hopefully the trial is televised.

Back to lurking.

Banning/penalizing taunting makes sense since it’s to someone’s face with the intent of drawing a reaction. Trying to do that for flag planting is silly. It will just either lead to a ridiculously overly broad rule to ban any display of emotion after a win or a never-ending race of new celebrations which haven’t been explicitly banned yet.

As a wise man once said, “some people, they gotta just learn how to lose”.

It just says “planting” of a flag.

So if you spread out the flag and cover the OSU logo, that’s cool.

From what I read is that his real purpose of proposing the law (which couldnt be voted on for months) is to try to force the conference or ncaa to adopt a rule preventing it all the time

Which is really not that different from the MaC commissioner letter.

So to me it became less ridiculous after I read the intent

Also read that this idiot rep is a Toledo grad fml.

Soft team. Softer fanbase.
