Spring Football Roster is up

I agree with the addition of Myrick and CJ Young from Kent along with some very good returning Miami LBs, the LB core should be a strength this year.

From what I can gather, Dillion Tatum, Quntin Harris, and Carl Jenkins were all four stars coming out of high school.

I think this was already confirmed, but Keith Reynolds and Jackson Pons officially back.

I like the portal class. Nice mixture of proven starters from other G6 schools and power conference guys coming down. I think last year we leaned to hard into power conference players and this class has a nice balance.

On paper this is a very good portal class and spring roster is very good.

Very good class, but do we think this is an 8-10 million dollar roster or more like a 2-4 and we have additional millions for future years? It was good PR to say this is a 8 million dollar roster if we have that kind of money because we want this big conferences to know that. Either way outside of tight end and safety there’s production everywhere and in those two spots you have previous 4 star talent. Also, running through the other rosters it makes sense we have more money than the rest of the conference because our three deep blows the rest out of the water. Our OL and DL is the deepest it has ever been. Western Michigan has some returning stars and Toledo is trusting Mercer can replace their team but Buffalo and OU are clearly weaker and Central is the same but not very good imo.

I can’t remember having this many WR on the roster. And versatile. From the tall at 6’2" and over to the fast shifty smaller 5’9" guys. Would like to see 1 more TE and 1 more RB (Tito Glass).

I don’t think Colzie was as good as I expected so really you want Isom who had awesome tape to replace Weaver and Reynolds to replace Kam Perry who didn’t excel until his second year in the program so both feel doable. Then between Lynel, Huggins, Hyatt, Witten and Jenkins. Can two more step up and you could easily have the best receiving core in the MAC

I think it’s 8-10 simply based on the going rate of players these days and the quality of players that committed. Maybe a bit less, but closer to that range. However, I guess we’ll see in the fall.

The former SEC and Big 10 “test” of who got how much cash was to check the player’s cars.

This is probably the most positive spring ball interview I’ve seen from Chuck, miles away from the “we suck, we aren’t playing good football” we usually hear this time of year.

He does comment on the difference it makes being able to get better portal players with the amount of money available now. Top shelf😂

Does anybody know what day the spring game is?

Or when Fall schedule will be posted?
