I think this would be cool. Surprised they would allow American football on the field..
Getting to play on real grass. What a novel idea. I remember the days when Yager had real grass. It was glorious. 3 yards and a cloud of dust, or mud, was something real
=>I don’t want football cleats tearing up the grass.
Isnt that a small capacity? 26k?
Interesting - smaller than either Miami or UC stadiums? It would sell out at either UC or Miami and they decide to play in smaller stadium? It will be crazy packed venue for sure.
I Know there is a Miami guy with the FC Cincy but didnt we just spend all that money to be associated with the Bengals
Capacity is only 26,000 so a sellout for sure. Wonder how many tickets Miami is allocated.
David Sayler mentioned this as a possibility during a talk at a Miami gathering in Cincinnati a few months ago. That meeting was held at TQL.
Why did we spend all that marketing money for a partnership with the Bengals if we’re gonna have to play this game in a stadium smaller than both Nippert and Yager?
=>UC is a partner with FC CINCINNATI.
My son works for TQL. will this one be included in season ticket packages?
Isn’t this technically a home game for Miami?
How much does Paycore Stadium charge that moving the game to a 26,000 capacity facility makes financial sense?
No, UC is the designated home team and has the TV rights/was responsible for contracting with PBS. It’s a 50/50 revenue split though.
Wonder if this is related to the bowl that they wanted to host here, but couldn’t get approval. With a few bowls closing, this would be a way to test run a football game here.
Yager or GTFO
