Let’s just say this is not your significantly older brother’s Siena.
A few missed double dribbles by the refs. Maybe a travel too. Contact is consistent for bigs and for guards, but guards getting more calls than bigs.
We sub too frequently. Old man take. Let these guys go.
Last few games Steele has played the same guys extensively. I think he’s going to the bench early with a double digit lead to keep Suder and Craft fresh for the last 10 minutes. Bit different than the first 4 games.
He’s also probably used to taking Elmer out after 3 minutes before he fouls out.
These fouls on the floor are so strange
Anyone in foul trouble?
32-21 at the half.
I like the score. This reminds me of following Miami basketball in the 1990s when I would just wait for the CNN headline ticker to flow by.
We’re up by 11 and I’m frustrated by the 4-6 points we left on the court by being sloppy and the free ~7 points we gave them. Dominating on the glass. Dominating defensively. Should not have more turnovers than them though. Overall, hard to complain.
@GuardHawk - Elmer, Cooper, and Ipsaro all have 2. Potter has 1. Nobody else has any.
You can track the details at the Live Stats link on the Siena line on the Miami schedule page. The ESPN App is also tracking the game in almost real time.
Looks like we’re still up 11 with about 5 minutes to go. Finish strong!
Nice win!
Winner. Survive and advance in that second tier Fort Myers bracket, baby!
Clearly, it should have been 100%.
70-58 final. Was this the first time we’d played Siena?
Any idea when we play tomorrow?
Yes, according to Miami game notes.
Yes
Gonna be 1:30 tomorrow
