I am a Bengals fan, but I gotta say I really like how many MAC dudes are gonna get meaningful time on the Browns roster. Fannin just scored a TD. He’s gonna be a star. Gage will be receiver #4 or maybe 3 as a slot/special teams. Kid from Kent is there and some dudes on the D line. Plus, Judge Judy’s son Jerry is there and although not from the MAC, he’s great. I really like the Browns chances in general beyond the MAC thing. They should be much improved.
As long as the fraudster Jimmy Haslam is the owner the Browns are going no where.

The riddle that is Desmond started for the Bengals today and was shocker, terrible. He was weak with Atlanta so why the Bengals thought he’d be different is hard to understand. If Joey B goes down, that’s our horse and he’s pure glue. I would take any of the Browns backup QB over him. The Browns will be way better this year. I suppose preseason can be fools gold, but I actually really like their depth across the board.
Edit: reading the Riddler not going to make the team. Now Browning is our backup. Still think Gabriel, Sheddur and possibly Picket have more upside.

Browning has always been the backup. Desmond was picked up as training camp depth and maybe practice squad if he’s willing. Browning played great two years ago when Burrow was injured, and had a terrible game up and decent game two in the preseason in relief of Burrow.

Wish that all of Gage’s official papers had Miami as his school. This isn’t even an Ivan Pace situation where he balled here and UC, Gage hardly played for South Carolina so his most recent college game tape was from 2023 (credit to SE Louisiana before that as well).
Looks like McDonald made the squad, or at least I do not see his name on the cuts.

Final cuts are tomorrow. Cade had a good preseason. Hoping he sticks it at least comes back on the PS. Gage Larvadain looks to have made it though as the Browns are waiving their veteran return specialist. Gage got a lot of work as an PR and WR this preseason.

Huntley seemed to have more upside than Pickett and Flacco isn’t gonna stay healthy all year. I will guarantee you Gabriel or Saunders gets in at some point.

What exactly does that injury designation mean?
Probably pending a waived injured settlement.
An NFL waiver injury designation, or waived/injured, is a status assigned to non-vested players who are injured but must first go through the waiver wire process before being placed on the Injured Reserve (IR) list. This prevents teams from stashing young, injured players and instead allows other teams a chance to claim the player and their contract. If no team claims them, the original team can either pay the player an injury settlement and release them, or place them on the regular injured reserve.

Final preseason game, 4th quarter, he caught a pass over the middle and got absolutely clocked. Hit was so bad they wouldn’t show a replay. 15 yard penalty on the DB for hitting a helpless WR. He was helped off the field. I don’t know if it was a concussion or something else.
