I am easily confused, so help me understand the email I received this afternoon. Jared Willis writes that as a token of appreciation for my donation I can get shirts or pennants sent to my home for a delivery charge. Fine. No where in the message does it allow me to make a payment nor really specify what I want. I did reply to the email, hopefully I get a more succinct reply.
I talked to someone in the ticket office at some point about this topic. They need you to give them your credit card over the phone so they can charge shipping. I was put on hold for someone to take my payment info, but the hold was going on 10 minutes and I had to get to a work meeting, so I hung up.
They followed with an email to me, apologizing for the delay, as it was during the First Four week.
I responded to the email and asking where to make payment and have yet to get a reply. Its been like 2 weeks.
When I have time this afternoon I am going to send my second e mail asking for more specific instructions. I am not going to call just yet. I certainly do not need another shirt or a pennant but crap, someone in that office needs a lesson in how to write an email. Most of us probably did not expect a “reward” for donating, most of us don’t need a Swoop t shirt, all of us have the number of the ticket office etc, why other than tradition make something so difficult. I’m stubborn. Get out there and send me my damn t shirt and pennant!
We ask for $5 shipping for every two items selected. However, if your gift supersedes the value of the items requested, we do not require shipping.
For example, You could request 2 pennants and 4 t-shirts and shipping fees would be waived.
Have a great day,
The reply I received today. Partial. Guess I could get a whole bunch of shirts.
I expect to have these shipped next week
