These are pretty good performances these recruits are putting up. So it looks like we are being prepared in case several of our current players jump somewhere next year. Seems the trend is the power schools are recruiting fewer high school kids and we are getting better recruits but those who develop into all MAC players will be getting plenty of offers. I still think this is a zero sum game. Power teams have always had the most good players and G5’s have always had the same general group of next level talent. In general, this is no different than it always has been. We just have to recruit and develop at a faster rate than in the past so that we can maintain a high G5 level of talent.

Like most other things in the world, changes are happening so much faster than in the past. Being flexible and adapting to change and innovative thinking have always been the key to success, just maybe at an accelerated level now.

Agree, Dick. I feel like these guys are flying under the radar because of the first “fab five” we had. It’s very early, but I’m most impressed with Justin Kirby, who committed later, and I felt it was a depth addition. He seems to be a key piece for Fishers, the #1 team in Indiana.

I’m hoping to see Trey Perry play soon in person.

With only 13-15 to worry about we can still compete in hoops. Frankly it might be the only sport that keeps parity from an NIL standpoint (or whatever it’s called). Hoops gonna keep improving.
