About 10 days ago I read that he was going to single A on rehab. Today he got jumped to AAA Salt Lake. Angels bullpen is not great, if he looks good he could be in the majors fairly quickly.
Talent has never been the issue with him, just health

Angels scored on a sac fly in the 8th. Bachman is in position to get the win.
Angels tacked on 3 more in the 8th and won, 9-5. Bachman gets the win. He is 1-0.

This was signicant as he is likely becoming a high leverage reliever which they need.

Another perfect 8th inning (with a strikeout) for Sam tonight. He needed 12 pitches last night. He needed just 9 tonight. Red Sox lead 1-0, so the Angels need to score 2 here to get Sam his second win in as many nights.
Edit: Solo homer tied it with 1 out in the 8th but the Angels couldn’t get the lead.
