That said Anika f*cking pounds those fills. I almost fell off my chair watching the Tom Sawyer bridge from one of the first shows on this tour.

Clearly I am a huge Rush fan. Is it Rush without Neil P? Not the same Rush but still damn good Rush and Anika can drum. Is she Neil? No. But you can list on one hand the drummers in his category.

I too was skeptical but Anika is amazing.
Wasn’t able to make it to the Forum shows and will be forever regretful about that. But what I’ve seen from the tour is amazing. Sure, Anika isn’t Neil. But she’s her own kind of incredible, a different kind. And what’s wrong with incredible?
Also, opening with Xanadu is the most Rush thing possible. I love it.
Saw Rush in 1981 and 2007,
both great concerts.
I don’t go to many concerts but that’s the only major band I’ve ever seen live twice.
I saw the Rock-A-Fire Explosion band at least 54 times but not since they broke up.
