Very nice addition to Miami Athletics’ facilities. And a necessity for a midwestern college golf team.

Seems like this new facility could be a great generator of funds for the golf team if they sell memberships to the public for use when the team is not using it.

I assume this is the same McVey as the data science building namesake?
Current location appears to be a Miami culinary building (behind TJ Maxx near the Kroger). Great addition.
At one time it was the culinary building but since they outsourced dining it’s just been underutilized warehouse space. They move most of what was being stored there out recently but the staff development offices are still there.
Prior to that it was Kroger.

Nice, an absolute must for golf programs in the Midwest.
The University of Dayton uses NCR Country Club’s indoor practice facility. It has heated golf bays that aim out into the driving range and a massive indoor putting surface
Until this building is up, Miami has used Hueston Woods driving range and putting green.
One of those indoor video golf places opened up recently in the old movie theater, not sure if they would use that occasionally.
yep!
