I’m sorry (not actually sorry) but if we are 31-0 against D1 teams and not wearing our home jerseys in the round of 64 that is absolutely ridiculous.

If that happens (34-0) it likely means beating Akron in MAC Championship. Miami would be a 7-seed… maybe an 8.
I’d rather be a 12/13 right now – easier to get to the sweet 16. I’d put us up there with anyone on the projected 4/5 line – Tennessee (ranked behind us), Virginia (notorious tourney choker), Arkansas (ranked behind us), Bama (illegal player), St. John’s (barely beat Xavier). Maybe not Texas Tech. The 8/9 winner get the 1 on first Saturday, no thanks.

agreed and said this in earlier posts. No matter what we do, our ceiling is a 10 seed in my opinion. The schedule will limit our seeding and rightfully so in reality. That said, no thanks on being a 8/9 seed–give me the 11-13 seed and take our shots at the 4-6 seeds in round 1 and same type of team or worse in round 2. Lets be real, there is a MASSIVE difference between the 1-3 seeded teams and everyone else. Massive. Avoid them as long as possible.

We will most likely be an 11 seed and potentially a 10 seed if we are undefeated.
There is zero chance we get a 12 or 13 seed. At large teams don’t get those seeds and if we win in Cleveland, we will be 11 or higher.
Miami was a 12 seed on our Sweet Sixteen run as at at large.
They were a 10-seed. In 1995 Miami was a 12-seed.

Dang, you were right. We were the 12 seed in 1995 when we beat ‘Zona.
Let’s not worry about seeding…Focus first on beating OU. Thereafter, focus of the first game in the MAC tourney.
Looking too far ahead, or guessing about something beyond our control, are distractions we do not need…Focus on tomorrow.

In 1978, we were the #3 seed! Actually 3Q. Marquette (who we beat) was a 1L seed.
