After winning 3 games no one on the roster was safe. I said at the time everyone is replaceable. We won 3 games with you we can do the same or better without you. I know some parents were upset because there kids weren’t asked back. Results say we have won 7 more games than last year already and have won more games in a season going back to 18-19
Yeah as I’ve said he could’ve pulled a coach prime and made this move before last year when the team he inherited had only 1 conference win. I think he gave a fair chance to everyone to prove themselves over last year and most players just did not.
Also this is what players wanted in general in college athletics. They wanted no restrictions on transferring and the ability to go where they wanted when they wanted. Many players are finding out this is a two way street where the schools are also saying see ya later we found someone better.
Yeah, I took some crap on here for defending him coming out of COVID. And the budget was cut as a result of zero ticket revenue, making recruiting even more difficult for that coaching staff.
But Years 4-5? No excuses.
Just out of curiosity are we ever going to find out why the coaches and players under Berg were forbidden to talk to you. Your coverage of him was always fair and leaned more positive than negative. Always seemed silly to me but I’m not privy to all the juicy details
