Quick Site Update!

I see I’m towards the bottom in the pageant rankings. As a lurker, that’s how it should be.

Back to lurking.

When it comes to hockey, all I care about are your posts. Ok. And Walter Bonkites. And also the leading lady of hockey’s. And of course a few of my old hockey friends who post with various sobriquet. But mainly yours. You are the only lurker I care about. Lurker, I love you and I don’t care who knows.

Question- since the update I haven’t been able to access the site on my phone or computer, I keep getting a message that says browser unsupported…anyone have a solve for this?

What browser do you use on your computer and phone?

I tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox. I think the problem may be my devices not being updated enough

My MHT ranking is higher than my Global Poker Index ranking and Sexiest Man Alive ranking.

Do you get any error messages? What’s the screen show?

Seems like your computer battery is on fumes as well.

Idk stop using a Motorola Razr?

Ok, I have 3 ideas and none of them are great.

  1. First one, trying to get safari updated. From our friend ChatGPT: On iPhone, please update iOS if you’re on 15 or earlier; then in Settings → Safari → Advanced make sure JavaScript is ON. Next, turn off any content blockers for our site (tap “aA” → “Turn off Content Blockers”) and reload. If it still fails, clear our site’s data in Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data, force-quit Safari, and try again.
  2. Second option if that doesn’t work - if you’re familiar with ad blockers, you can configure one to block the browser detection script. That might allow you keep browsing, but I can’t guarantee everything will function well. Steps:
    1. Install or enable an ad/content blocker extension that allows custom filters (e.g., uBlock Origin, AdGuard).

    2. Add this custom filter (adjust domain as needed):

      https://miamihawktalk.fans/assets/browser-detect-*.js

    3. Reload the page.

  3. Finally, Discourse has decided to add fallback support at some point in the future
