Projecting MAC Starting QBs

Our situation is certainly not set in stone as it indicates.

I agree. But it’s a fun read!

I would say WMU, Miami and Kent seem to have the best QB situations.

People love Noah Kim from EMU. No clue why

I will take Lowry, Gotkowski and Kent’s QB over Kim.

I’m gonna call my shot for the Zips. I think they win 6 and go bowling. I wonder if they are allowed to by the ncaa. I thought they looked much improved last year

I don’t think the kid from Kansas came to sit on the bench. I really hope our QB next season wasn’t on the roster last season.

Hopefully it’s an open competition and let the best man win.

I love him, too… when he plays against Miami.

Bring on the interceptions.

Gotkowski was a real baller in high school. He had a 1 great performance, 1 fine game, and then two that can be classified as stinkers (a championship game and bowl game). Real tough situation for him to step into basically a championship situation as his first game experience, especially considering the drama of the starting QB and team leader losing his mind.

If he’s not the best, then that’s life. It appears to be a real competition. But just like the backup QB is often the most popular guy on a struggling team, lets not just assume new face = improvement. Dequan was the new face, instant impact guy last year, and we saw how that went.

I believe McComb will emerge as the QB. His younger brother would have been a nice commit, but he also signed with Kansas State.

TG showed enough last year to deserve a chance to win the starting job, but frankly he was no Brett Gabbert when comparing freshman seasons. I don’t think he should be treated as the incumbent, which carries a lot of weight with Chuck. May the best man win.
