It should be at least 48-0. And, we need to play the starters for three quarters to get reps. All the subbing last week was BS.
40-13
I predict that due to the weather this will be as disastrous and depressing a first game from a crowd perspective as Miami has seen in quite some time. ![]()
What is the forecast?
There is only liquid sunshine at Yager Stadium
We’ve seen within this calendar year what winning can do for a program. For literally decades, Miami students and older fans had been ambivalent (at best) about men’s basketball. It was by far the sport (among the “big three” men’s teams) that garnered the least attention and fan interest. What does winning do? Winning leads to sold out games — and not a fake sellout with black curtains blocking off entire sections, a truly sold-out venue. Win and put out a product that is entertaining and people will show up. Last week’s performance did not give students, alums, or Oxford residents a reason to be entertained, much less a reason to sit outside in the rain to watch an FCS opponent.
