Kidding aside, I just hope we can score at least one TD this weekend. Our offense last week was simply pathetic.

I think Rutgers will have trouble running against us so I am guessing instead of keep running they will pass. Their wr looked good against Ohio U and I expect them to complete a lot of short passes against us. My guess is the offense is still weeks away from being proficient
I don’t think Rutgers is as good as Wisconsin. I expect some offensive improvement. So maybe 20 to13 Rutgers.
17-10 Good guys
27-13. Miami covers but falls short….at least or D and ST play well again and, finally, the Miami O-line shows some collective improvement.
I hope Miami will use it’s heavier RBs if it persists in trying to run against the opposition’s front D line….and give Finn more time to get comfortable in putting his talents to better use as both a runner and a passer.
Miami 23 Rutgers 21 -
I was sitting right behind the Miami cheerleaders in Row 2 last week. Coach Patton was teaching the OL after every series. He had a long week to work with them this week. They will be better. And Rutgers didn’t get a single sack against OU.
DQ came over to see his family at the rail before going into the locker room at UW. He was obviously quite frustrated by the two critical INT he threw. He will be better. We will get close enough for Dom to kick a few.
And I hope DQ loses the orange shoes. It makes him far easier for linebackers to track. It’s like a high scoring hockey forward wear sparkling gold gloves.
Wisconsin beat Rutgers 42-7 last October at SHI.

With Sackman in the stands, I guarantee we score.

Watched the replay of the Rutgers Ohio game today. Navarro threw three TD passes to Tight Ends.

I have no reason to be optimistic for this game as far as the offense is concerned. 17-0 Rutgers
Given how we saw pretty slow progression in the offense early last season as well, I’m not optimistic.
Sopranos 20, Miami 9
Paging @muhawk…how did the game play out on CF26???

Nescacdad - good point-When is the last time we threw a TD pass to a TE? How many catches did our TE’s have all last year ? Previous years/ ? Our OL has been so weak over the last few years we have used our TE’s almost exclusively as blockers. Dick and anyone else supporting CM “s offense I would be happy to discuss with you Miami offense / game plans and play calling over the last 5 years- During that time I have carefully studied drive charts, play charts and related stats - we have been an inconsistent relatively poor offense team. We have had little creativity, inconsistent play calling ( long fade route low percentage calls on third and short ) , no short possession passing game , etc. Chuch is a good recruiter and good team manger and relatively good D coach ( although we give up way too much TOP by conceeding short out routes ) . We could be so much better but we will never get to the next level without a talented OC.
We have 9 TE on our roster compared to just 5 RB. Since Ohio was able to hit three TD passes to a TE last week it would seem using the TE for something other than blocking might be possible.
