I may be doing my math wrong but if Miami wins tomorrow and OU wins, Miami is still up one. But the if Miami loses the next two and OU wins the next two Miami would be 5-3 and OU would be 6-2. So not sure Miami can clinch until week 11 with a win against Akron and a win against Buffalo

Michael Dowell opened the scoring when he picked off a pass deflected by Yahsyn McKee and ran it back 75 yards for the score late in the first. That was all the scoring Miami would even need. Rashad Amos added the other two scores on running plays (28 yards and 2 yards, respectively) and Akron never posed any real threat.
