I didn’t know we had a green belt around our campus. The most wildlife I’ve observed is in the three blocks just west of where Slant Walk intercepts Campus Avenue and High Street.
Ah. Looks like it’s mostly on the east side. That’s the direction we’d expect Bobcats to sneak in from from Athens. Makes sense!
One of those trails has a really cool wood/rope bridge. They were great to go out on before finals to unwind for a bit.
Even a Bobcat would rather be at Miami.
Spent many a night a Peffer Woods’ bluffs
There was a hill there that was steep as hell and we had to do fireman carries up it. In August when it was 95 degrees, that was puke city. Good times!

Seriously? I live a couple miles from DCC. You got any write ups on sightings? This is the first I’ve heard of them being so close to a city. They’re more rural.
