Ha! To all those who hate Chuck, I guess this is proof of how terrible a coach he is!
Me? I think this is awesome news. What a year!
Congrats to Chuck. Well deserved.
Strange comment.
Poor attempt at humor, I believe.
So many people bagged on Chuck and said he couldn’t coach. My point is, if he’s such a shitty coach, how did he make this list? I love Chuck btw.
Ps, when the weather improves, can I expect a pool invite?
Somewhat back to topic - UC now has 18 in the portal. Did we break them?
It would be so sweet to have one or two come here and help us get the next two or three or thirty in a row from them.
Per the recent NCAA’s president’s proposal they’re about to be relegated to the scout teamers when the truly biggie bigs of college football go semi-pro and start paying their kiddies straight from the athletic departments coffers.
And they thought they were going big time! HA!!!
The $300-550/month stipend they’re getting now isn’t enough. That’s of course along with a free college education plus any possible NIL money they’re getting. School’s going to pay them I think the article mentioned $40k/year.
What a mess.
I often agree with Ball Coach but I disagree re his analysis of Jack C- he is one of the best TE’s not only in the MAC but I would rank him high on a national basis if he is totally healthy - welcome back Jack - we need you next year! Also congrats to CM. As I and others have often stated on this site recruiting , team management, team chemistry, academic goals ,and commitment to Miami all excellent. under CM. O play calling and greater commitment to OOC games has been the issue- gradual changes for the better recently. Hoping for more independence to Walsh and O play calling group next year- high double digit completions to our TE’s ( esp Jack C ), greater emphasis on short pass/ possession game and very low fade route pattern routes in 2024!
Has entered the portal
Mckee coming back it seems
I like him, he’s a cool guy. Just curious why you think he’s one of the best in the nation? Maybe I’m missing something?
True freshman from Hopkinsville, KY. Kept his redshirt year - only played in four games with three AST most likely on ST. Another out of state transfer. Good luck to Daisjuan wherever he ends up.
Looks to me like Ertl has one more year.
I think you are on to something with the out of state kids leaving. The main factor would appear to be playing time and/ or a path to playing time. When you add in these kids are 3-6 hours from home. Makes sense. Looks like we have lost 3 Kentucky kids to the portal if you add in QB that left in spring with this kid and Moore.
How?
Reid Holskey announces he’s returning
Welcome back Mr. Holskey!!

Unless I’m missing something, both McKee and Ertl are out of eligibility.
