Pittsburgh Steelers 2025

Great ballpark and I love walking the city. Once again, however, a bad team.

Pickens traded to Cowboys.

Dallas will receive Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick, while Pittsburgh will get a 2026 third-round selection and a 2027 fifth-rounder, according to reports.

They don’t get a second-rounder but the ā€œvalueā€ translates to a high second-rounder.

Suddenly, they are thin again at WR. Maybe it’s best to stay away from Rogers, win 5-7 games in 2026, and then draft your franchise QB.

I guess Woods becomes #2…an improvement over Van Jefferson I would think. I wonder if this catches Rodgers by surprise.

If it means Steelers don’t sign Rodgers and we go 4-13 this year I’d be legitimately thrilled.

We’d win about that many with or without AR

If Rogers stays healthy (assuming he signs a contract), He’ll definitely add wins.

Save the money on Rogers and use it to lower beer prices so the fans can tolerate the 4-13 season.

Eh….he had better receivers, RBs and coaching in NY and still lost

True, but having him vs. Mason for 17 games will generate more wins. Maybe only a few. But perhaps the difference between 6-11 and 10-7…which is very Tomlinesque.

I’m f the Steelers are dumb enough to actually sign AR, the very least I’d hope he be able to do is get Tomlin fired

Good riddance, although he may be right!

A-Aron is a coming!

And…Another WR (at some point).

Keep your eye on Gabe Davis. He has been working out with Metcalf.

I like him. Hopefully he’ll get healthy and earn a contract offer.

I really don’t think A-Aron gets the Steelers more wins than Mason, but hopefully he takes Tomlin with him in January….

This will certainly make it easier to root for 3-14 (I was going to do that anyway).

He’ll get hurt early. No one will ever remember the ā€œRodgers Era.ā€

Non-Steeler fan. Imo Rodgers if healthy will drag them to a winning record but no deep playoff run. He’s not totally washed but he’s certainly not a QB who can elevate the team at this point in his career, even before you consider the drama he brings off the field. An early-season injury to him and a trade deadline sell off would probably be the best thing for the future but I don’t think the Rooneys will go for that.

Rodgers doesn’t bring any drama. The biggest issue is that he is the complete antithesis of what Tomlin-ball is; Rodgers is a passer. Tomlin prefers out routes and sideline passes to short receivers and a run game that doesn’t work. Not sure why Tomlin wanted Rodgers’s bad….
