Could have and probably should have flagged OSU for that hit a on Mendoza. Definitely borderline cheap shot, Eddie.
I’ll have to watch it again (and again). The consensus seemed to be a hard but legal hit.

I watched it three more times. Mendoza was moving towards him so I do think the refs got it right.
Well, you certainly could argue it was a legal hit, but man, it was vicious shot to a helpless player after throwing the ball.

OSU missed a chip shot FG to tie it with 2:50 left! Hoosiers on the edge of first Big 10 ‘ship since 1945. Hell might be about to freeze over!
And Duke’s win might knock the ACC out of the CFB Playoffs.
Mendoza might have just won the Heisman with that 3rd and 6 completion!!
