Two games at Omaha to start NCHC play. So far so good, 2-1 with 2 mins left in the first. We scored on our only power play and killed the Mavs only power play.
and still 2-1 at the end of the first. SOG apparently just 5-13 but didn’t feel that unbalanced watching.

Not a bad first period, still leading 2-1 and killing off the majority of the second Omaha power play before going to the locker room.
Mavericks are 7-1 to start the season, all games at home. However their opponents are a combined 9-20-3 (LSSU, Maine, Alaska and LIU)

SOG ended up as 13-36 but I thought it didn’t seem that bad watching live. Persson played great, we scored on our only power play and shut Omaha out on their 4 power plays. Overall a good game I thought.

100% agree. It definitely didn’t seem lopsided watching live. Persson is a damn good goalie, he just needs better offensive support than he got most of last year.
