Tremendous 2nd half and really a very good game overall. I think we shot 65% from the floor in the 2nd half. We had more points in the paint, 40-30. Despite all of the turnovers, I thought we played smarter than they did. We played harder than they did and we deserved this kind of victory. This kind of win should encourage us all about next year. And who knows about this year. Let’s get the next one and see where we’re at going to Buffalo.

One thing that has helped tremendously in this three game winning streak are the positive contributions we are getting in points and rebounds from the bench.

Great effort. Great game. Enjoyed the hell out of that. Julian played like we thought he would. Kamari is getting more comfortable. Big contributions from them the difference between winning and losing. Safford is just so darn solid. Everyone contributed.
Great day for incoming players to attend. Get them ready for the speed of the game in D1…
Hope attendance was good. They got to see us beat the highest ranked team we’ve beaten in a long while.

I watched the game real time and single handedly brought the end to the fire crackers curse. The cutest of all curses no doubt, but a curse that had to be vanquished nonetheless.

So glad we decided to head up to Oxford today! Great team win on Senior Night/Day. Crowd was pretty darn good, too. We had 21 turnovers and still won by 17. Great shooting today. Thanks for everything, Lairy!

CMU’s huge comeback attempt against NIU fell short, EMU knocked off Ball St, and BG is leading Kent at the half. Potentially a four way tie for the last tournament spot at the end of the day.
I’m not really a fan of reducing the number of tournament teams, but it’s undeniably leading to more intensity and a higher level of play down the stretch this season.
