Creating just enough disruption defensively to OUā€™s offensive rhythm. Guys are playing really hard at that end, harder than just a couple of weeks ago.

Very active defensively, lots of intensity on both ends. Been fun to watch so far.

Mirambeaux gets assaulted, stares down the guy who fouled him, and then another OU player pushes him. Somehow both benches get warnings.

Very entertaining. Playing hard. Good offense when we donā€™t turn it over. Letā€™s do this!

That was a really hard foul on Mirambeaux. Weā€™ve made some mistakes to keep them in it. They have 10 points off of our 5 turnovers. We played zone for some reason for 2 possessions and they scored 5 easy points.

I have no fault with our effort, weā€™re doing as much as we can out there. For the most part, shot selection has been good. We shot 58% from the floor, had more points in the paint, and only took 10 3s. Defensively, weā€™re trying to move our feet, forcing them into a poor shooting percentage while playing against 2 very good guards.

Things that have to change: OU had 8 offensive rebounds and we had 9 turnovers. Also, can we play defense without fouling. Big free throw disparity and OUā€™s guards are a problem for us. They got 41 in the first meeting and they already have 25 today. And itā€™s hard to see Wilson going 3/10 for another half. I expect him to play tougher in the 2nd half.

Keep attacking the paint, get Mirambeaux the ball on the block a lot, and fight to stay in front of them defensively, on the perimeter, or on the glass. Another big effort needed for the last 20 minutes.

Kamari is the X factor. If he can play the second half like he did the first OU might have too much on its hands.

He hasnā€™t gotten many looks, but Iā€™ve been impressed by his willingness to drive and create opportunities at the basket.
