Notre Dame was sleepwalking that entire game.
So, if Miami beats Northern Illinois AND Northern Illinois beats Notre Dame AND Notre Dame beats Miami, does that mean all 3 teams are equally great/awful?

This is an OU 1st half defense where OU had what, like 60 yards in the 1st half. NIU averaging 220 yards/game.
I really wish we had another crack each at NW, UC, and ND.
I realize part of it is level of competition against opposing MAC defenses but Brett also looks much healthier than he did during that gauntlet.

NIU made it kind of obvious that was an attempt to get Miami to jump since the game clock was running all the way down.

Good job, D. You were up in a tough spot there and you forced them to hit a 47-yarder.
Lousy end to the half but the staff got this team ready to play, nice to go into the half up by two TDs even if it should be more.
