Current forecast for Oxford tonight is great. 0% chance of rain starting at 7:00. Temperatures slowly dropping from 57 at kickoff to low 50s by 11:00. Big game for us as basically we need to win the next two games to win the MAC regular season and play in Detroit. Anything less makes it very unlikley to accomplish those goals as most tiebreaking possibilities do not favor us. This game is on ESPN, which is the second time in 3 weeks for us, and those are the first two weeknight games in 5 years for the MAC to be on ESPN.
Might catch some extra eyeballs with the farkakte CFP bracket show as a lead-in as well.
Why the 8pm kick time? Last I checked Miami is in the Eastern Time Zone. That’ll put the end of the game well after 11pm
Looks like the spread has dropped all the way to -1. Is there some news we’re missing or is it just dummy bettors who only know about the Notre Dame upset from earlier this year moving the line?
Let’s get this game started!
Go Miami!!
Can’t start slow like the last couple games.
The announcer just said Brett is QB at one of the finest academic universities in the country.
As are Kent State and CMU where the other games tonight are being played…
It’s the time slot ESPN wants.
Love the all red uniforms
Student section isn’t crowded by any means but at least it’s not zero.
Disappointing end to a solid enough drive. Dom has earned some slack but unless the hold was bad he’d like to have that one back.
Ugh!
Missed FG
They’re surprised Chuck is taking the FG attempt?
And Dom misses it.
Everything done ok except cashing in on points
“Chuck Martin rolls the dice as much as anyone” was just said by the color commentator.
I think he’s been at Mac and Joes since noon.
Killer Chuck would have gone for it on 4th down
Should be up 3-0. Can’t miss that FG. Points will be tough to come by tonight
The shade of red doesn’t seem to be Miami’s shade of red.
Good series by the D aided by a couple penalties
The referee is Billy D(ee) Williams. He works every time.
