NHL 2024-2025 Thread

Chicago Blackhawks beat Montreal last night. Now we need the Chicago Wolves to beat them tomorrow.

Damn shame Jet didn’t get the call sooner, but looks like CBJ finally found a goalie.

My Blues somehow squeaked in, all it took was a franchise-record winning streak. Jets are a tall task but we won as underdogs in 2019, we’re playing with house money while they have the President’s Trophy pressure on them.

Yeah, we’ve been playing at like 60%, so not sure we’ll be much help, lol! A few guys got called up from AHL, but looks like Rosey was on the ice for morning skate. Would be great to get him going on a scoring streak to end the season and head to playoff with. it. Would love to see the CBJ get in!

Twitter is kind of fun with all the love for the Canes today!

haha, that is for sure who will be on the ice tonight suiting up in the red and white!

Sorry CBJ fans, not sure this lineup gets the Canes a win tonite. Roslovic will need to play lights out! And no that is not Rod BrindAmour suiting up, although he’s probably still better than his kid.
Kochetkov in goal, who has not been good lately. I hate this part of the season.

The Canadian election debate start time has been moved up two hours so people can watch that and still catch the Montreal game tomorrow night. That seems like a prudent decision.

I don’t think it matters who the Canes put out there. Montreal is going to choke.

Canes seem to be specializing in giving up goals very late in a period. Carolina was red hot early in the season. Not so much in April. The way they’re playing right now I don’t think they’ll get past New Jersey in the first round.

Hey, look, the Canadiens won a game tonight.

Interesting watch for me.

My kid played summer hockey with Brenden Gallagher with the Junior Giants organization in South Delta. He later played against Shane Gostisbehere in New England Prep hockey. I think those are the only two left in the show he played with or against from that era except for his old Berkshire line mate Kevin Rooney who is still the fourth line Centerman up in Calgary. Most of the rest of them are in the beer leagues.

Time flies.
