We know the story. Iâm sorry you got doxxed; thereâs no excuse for that. It sucks, and Marshall fans are awful, though I donât see the benefit of poking fun at a tragedy in which many lives were lost.

Not a good look but completely understand @thechuck_2112 feelings towards them. Doxxing is for cowards. Those doing it are usually mentally ill and couldnât care less about the danger it poses, including for those near the one being doxxed.

As a kid, I lived about 5 miles from the Scary Creek battlefield. General John McCauslandâs home in Pliny was about 20 miles down the Kanawha on US 35 from that point. He was the Confederate general who razed Chambersburg, PA (Brant Byersâ â hometown) and is credited as being the general who saved Lynchburg, VA from a similar fate.
My dad played football for the Poca Dots in the late 1930s and I have a cousin who played basketball there in the 60s and is in their hall of fame.

Putting the Miami bias aside, that actually makes no sense. Yes, in theory MAC 2nd place vs. Sun Belt 1st place is better than 1st vs. 6th. But Akron and Troy arenât getting significant chunks of time on Sportscenter. You would think the WWL would want to promote the mid-major that is receiving national coverage, just for the casual fan who might say âoh yeah, that team. Let me see what they look like.â Heck, the haters knocking the schedule might watch just to root against us.
Granted, there is no guarantee that the team will be undefeated at that point but itâs weird that considering the network has to plan the schedule ahead of time that ESPN wouldnât showcase the mid-major team likely to draw the most eyeballs.
