NET RANKINGS OF LOCAL TEAMS

NET back into the top 50 after last night.

Miami 49

Kent no movement at 146. If they can get up to 135 by end of season that will give us another W for Q2 which certainly won’t hurt us if needed on selection Sunday.

We’re clumped together with USC and LSU… just like how it should have been during the 2003 football season.

Miami drops 5 from 48 to 53.

Other notable NET moves:

Kent to 139 and Marshall to 136. If either of those creep up to 135 or better, we could collect a couple extra Q2 wins, which wouldn’t hurt the resume. Wright just hanging on at 135, the actual Q2 line.

As far as resume building, just keep winning and hope Wright, Kent, Marshall, and Akron keep winning.

Exactly…need those teams to keep winning and if Miami takes a loss it can’t be a Q4 (Western, Central, NIU, Ball St)

Bowling Green home loss to Buffalo drops them 18 spots to 126. Their Q2 status looking a lot more dicey than it did yesterday.

Buffalo jumps 17 spots to 156 with the win, putting them in Q2 sniffing distance along with #161 Toledo.

The MAC needs to dominate the SBC challenge on the road, so we get more teams in the top 135.

I could easily see a scenario where we end up with one Q2 win (Akron), but could also see a scenario where we end up with 5-7 Q2 wins (Akron, @Wright, @Marshall, @Kent, @BG, @Buffalo, @Toledo). Also, seems unlikely we pick up any Q2 wins in Cleveland unless we beat Akron in the Finals.

You are way more confident than I am. If I knew for sure we would win our remaining games I would want Akron to keep Winning but I want to win a MAC title so I want Akron to lose a few

The last ten nine games on the schedule look a lot like a mine field to me.

We have a killer four game stretch coming after Saturday. @Buff, @Marshall, OU, @UMass I think this is the stretch where we are most vulnerable especially with three tough road games and two of them being Tuesday games with long travel involved. Will need everyone healthy and playing well to get through this stretch unscathed. Not saying we can’t do it, but it will be very difficult.

Totally agree - major UNFINISHED BUSINESS ahead- we need total focus one game at a time

At this point, I think it’s a killer for them, not us!

D needs to play like the 2nd half Tuesday . Same with rebounding.
