MLB Playoffs

Greatest Cleveland baseball game ever?

!

Max Muncy just reached base for the 11th consecutive plate appearance in the post season, breaking Billy Hatcher’s record from 1990.

Last night better. Time to send the Clippers home for the winter.

We will always have those meaningless game 3 home runs by guys who won’t be in the league in three years.

Juan Soto baiting that homeless guy into throwing him a fastball was amazing gamesmanship. Amsinger on MLB Network called it the greatest at bat he’s ever seen.

The MLB is getting what they want. Likely Dodgers vs Yankees, ohtani, Betts, freeman vs Judge, Soto, Stanton. Or at worst they will have to settle for the subway series

World Series is set. Root for the small market team!

Baseball season is done for me. Baseball is the only major sport without an effective salary cap and I don’t care for that advantage. I read a comment somewhere during the second round of playoffs that of the 4 remaining AL teams, Cleveland, Detroit, KC , and the Yankees, the total salary of the other 3 teams was about the same as the Yankees salary. Yankees and Dodgers should be disrespected because of the few times they actually win a WS compared to the gigantic advantage they have over everybody else. Cannot root for those teams ever.

As a fan of the more fiscally responsible team in this Series, we are dedicating this 28th ring to my man DICK. I’ll bring some Yankees gear for you on Saturday.

I haven’t watched and won’t watch any of the playoffs this year. I skipped over the first couple rounds because I was still in a bad mood from how the Twins’ season ended. By the time I was over it, the only teams left were three ultra rich megamarket teams and a division rival. No interest in watching teams I hate compete for a title.

Thank you for your service!

Well I certainly knew my post would draw a response from my friend The Sackman. You know where I sit, so I will be expecting my free gear Saturday.

Mookie Betts drives in Shohei Ohtani.

So, the guy with the $365 million contract drives in the guy with the $700 million contract.

And both dodger runs were due to bad defense by Soto who is about to get 500m+

HOLY SHIT!!!

I saw Bryce Harper hit a walk off grand slam for the Phillies when I was visiting, it was nuts for even a regular season game when they weren’t even good that season. For that to happen in the World Series between Yankees/Dodgers is completely bonkers and historic, this is the kind of thing that will be up there on the same tier with Gibson, Freese, Carter, etc. if the Dodgers win it all.
