A bit undersized (height-wise) for the PF spot he normally plays. Doesn’t really take jump shots, but he’s a rebounding machine. Over 12pts and 9.4 rebounds per game. Good footwork, finishes with both hands, plays a bit taller than he is, and incredibly strong.
Maybe in a Marcus Weathers mold?
or Danny Horace
Listed at 264. This from a game in November.
“The story of the night however was sophomore Michael Osei-Bonsu (Bolingbrook, Ill.) who controlled the glass all night to finish with 17 points and an outstanding 18 rebounds for the Blazers, his third double-double of the season.”
I’d take a Danny Horace in a heartbeat. Loved watching him. And exactly what we need.
Danny Horace immediately came to mind. He’s quick and hustles back on D after every bucket. His team went 30-4…3rd in the nation in offensive rebounds per game…21 times in double figures…11 double-doubles…there is a lot to like. His FT % is concerning though (54-113 for 47.8%).
Commits to Missouri State
clearly Mike has no idea what Y3 of Miami Basketball is about to do!!!
