Charlie has gotten a lot better.

Congratulations to Charlie Nikitas on making his first cut on the Korn Ferry tour!! He shot 69-68 (-5) to finish 1 stroke under the cut line (-4). Cash those checks, baby!! Danny Fisher struggled a bit in his first round (75, +4), but bounced back admirably with a 69 (-2) in Round 2. Both of these guys have bright futures ahead of them…it will be fun to watch!

Charlie is much improved.

3 Miamians participated in Stage 2 of the Korn Ferry Q-School this past week - Danny Fisher, Charlie Nikitas, and Brian Ohr. Unfortunately, no one made the cut to move on to the Final Stage, but getting this far may give them some conditional status on either the Korn Ferry or PGA Americas tour next season. Danny finished -9 (T38) in his qualifier in Savannah, GA to miss the cut by 4 strokes. Not too shabby considering he was E after his first 2 rounds. Charlie & Brian played in the Tucson, AZ qualifier where the course played quite a bit tougher (the cut after 4 rounds was only Even par). Charlie finished +8 (T41) and Brian ended up at +22 (69th). As an aside, Patrick Flavin didn’t make it past Stage 1. Hopefully, we’ll see all of this guys on a PGA-affiliated tour in the Spring!

Brian has made the biggest jump of the three recently. Patrick needs to get it dialed back in. Had such a good run a few years back. Still young.
