Miami/Yager booze sales second-to-last

Hey aren’t you listening! They said Sweden doesn’t take cash so damn it deal with it!

Is there a correlation between alcohol sales and winning?

Of course, the more I drink, the more it seems we are doing well. Then, there is that point where I don’t even care.

Sounds like we could move up to first place if all the members of this board were at the games.

Not to beat a dead horse, but:

Ran some errands this morning: got a cash discount at the dry cleaners and at the parts/service desk at the car dealer. Had to wait while people tapped their toes when the customer at Kroger couldn’t get her “tap to pay” to work - took several attempts. (My card worked faster than tapping there). Got a cash discount at Skipper’s Sunday.

Received an email a few weeks ago that you can now pay cash for Uber (a poster child for no touch transactions.)

And then there’s this article in the WSJ this morning.

Make sure to have a second card ready - or a couple dollars in actual cash.

Rumors of Cash’s disappearance might be a bit premature.

While the speed of transactions is definitely a factor the main reason businesses are going cashless is to prevent employee theft.
