Fort Collins does have some of the best sports bars around, however it is also my granddaughter’s 20th birthday. So we will have a combined watch and birthday party. A large number of our daughter’s friends are CSU fans/grads so we damn well better win.

Ah, well, that’s an idea I will mull about. Our granddaughters boyfriend is 6’7” so for that reason I will exempt him from the probable hit list. Besides, he is for various reasons now a Michigan fan.
La Paloma and Ventana Canyon are wonderful resorts in Tucson.
About 1/3 of my family lives in Tucson.
Guadalajara’s Grill is one of our favorite places to eat.

Any news of portal departures or people sitting out of the bowl game? I would think that not a lot of hold outs because there are a lot of seniors and probably realistically not getting drafted, and this may be their last opportunity to play?

Not looking like any entries yet, also the Arizona bowl offering NIL money might limit the amount of players entering before the bowl game

Colorado State has a pretty good year…mostly lost to a couple of excellent OOC teams.
Should’ve known we were destined for this game after getting the official Snoop cookbook at my work party’s white elephant last week. Nice matchup in a dry city. Brett and Matt deserve to go out winners for this one.

The mountain west is also pretty mediocre overall, only 5 bowl eligible teams, and only 4 with a winning conference record
Washington’s Jedd Fisch has announced that anyone who goes into the portal or announces their intention to go into the portal is welcome to play in their Sun Bowl game.

I am not a gambler, but wondering if anyone knew who was favoured in our bowl game? Initially I saw us as a 3.5 point favorite, but that was before the MACC result. Guessing it could be close to a toss up game.
As an aside, I really like that we are playing what I would characterize as a well known football program. Not to be a football snob, but playing newbie FBS type teams doesn’t excite me too much. Also, if you look at CSU’s game results, except for a blow out loss to Texas, they were very competitive in most all their games.
Should be a good game w the added humor of having Snopp around during the broadcast.
