Miami v. Wisconsin-Game Week!

Well he did let Finn try to throw a couple of passes which surprised me.

And what’s special teams :joy:

Will certainly take three point deficit at halftime but without getting much OL push or WR separation it’s gonna be a near prayer to put much points on the board

I don’t like that Edwards is hurt but it does give us a fighting chance since his backup at first glance seems less capable.

Agree I figured there was no chance he’d throw

We are only down a FG but cannot win this game unless we can figure out a way to score some points. I don’t know what the answer is other than what has already been said here…quick passes and I would like to see Finn keep trying to run on designed plays…and get the ball to Tracy.

Usually all it takes is a Redhawk 3 pt lead for Chuck to go to the prevent offense, not a 3 pt deficit.

Feeling positive about us covering 17.5…

At half we have 4 first downs and 69 yards of total offense.

Other than creating a turnover the D can’t do better than that first half. They certainly aren’t intimidated by the moment.

I don’t know how many RPOs we have in the playbook (or how well we could run them) but theoretically that’s a nice idea to get something going. Finn and his legs could help negate the Wisconsin DL advantage while the concepts may create some separation for the wideouts.

Martin has not scored a TD in the first half of the season opener in the last 3 years.

In other words Chuck Martin on the road against P4 OOC. Playing field position! At least it’s keeping the game close.

Little brother Javon Tracy earning his NIL money with 3 catches for 71 yds against Buffalo.

Let’s coach up this O line and get a TD Chuck. Defense looks phenomenal so far

I hear ya Blues but it sure was tempting to have gone for that fourth and short early around their 40 yard line. I know it’s not in Chuck’s DNA and we might’bw got stuffed, but we were only a few yards away from attempting a FG.

Miami Punter is averaging 44.6. Nice job.

UC losing 13-3. Go Huskers!

Clean first half. Only 2 penalties and no big mistakes. Defense was excellent. Offense wasn’t good, but not too surprising with 11 new starters.

@Cincykid3 That 1st Quarter punt came on 4th and 1 at our on 34. Nowhere close to their 40.

Defense!!
