Here are UNC Asheville’s game notes from their last game:
And the old days, Miami would never play basketball during finals week. It is finals week this week down there, isn’t it?
It is finals week. Maybe the difficulty in getting a schedule was part of it
This is probably the toughest game Miami has played so far, especially being on the road. Only a 2pt computer favorite.
I really wish either this or Wright St were at home. This is a long road stretch with two of our toughest OOC games (we really only had 3 if you want to count ODU who is similar to UNC-A, and that’s using tough loosely).
If Miami is the program we hope and want it to be this year, we have to be able to go on the road and win games like this against teams ranked 200.
No doubt this will be a tough game. They have some players. Cannot overlook anyone
They gave some fits to NC State to start, going on a few xx-0 runs. we cant afford to let them do that. Also heard that there were a couple Nba scouts at that game to see one of the Asheville players
Drove over to today, excited to finally see some Miami bball in person!
Cheer ‘em on for us!
Millett has prepared our team for this atmosphere.
Cold start
Down 6-2
Refs are whistle happy tonight
These guys are athletic. Not afraid to go hard to the boards.
Down 2 but heading to the line at the under 12 media timeout. Refs have already called 6 fouls on Asheville.
We’re starting to heat up from deep. Trailed by as many as 6, down 17-15 at the U12. Ipsaro will be at the line.
These announcers did their homework and they’re gonna make sure we know it.
We’re in the bonus at the 8:43 mark
