I don’t do twitter anymore; someone post here when the champs are getting back to Millett.
The ‘08 team got a police escort to Millett…hoping for the same later today!
Thank you. I love athletics, love Miami athletics, love Miami, and Miami women deserve all the support we can give them. And this is an amazing team and staff.
After 14 years of Miami fandom, one of our basketball teams is finally dancing. Great game ladies.
Box always seems very reserved and taciturn. but in the postgame, he was so emotional he couldn’t even be interviewed, and you could see the team loves him. Onward!
Back from the game. That first half was about as impressive of a defensive effort as you’ll see, we were a bit loose with the ball the whole game and the energy was off in the late 3rd/early 4th but we got it done in the end.
I’m not gonna lie, I don’t follow women’s hoops as much as men’s. But I came to Cleveland this weekend to watch a Miami championship, and by God they got it done. Love and honor to the team and staff, let’s shock the world next week.
Great job - Box , his assistants and a total team effort- assuming the men’s team get a bid ( which they deserve ) how many other schools in the country will have both their women’s and men’s team in the dance?
Just a reminder Miami was picked 7th in the MAC
Preseason coaches poll.
9PM east lot/entrance of Millett.
Awesome, thanks!
Preseason predictions are very difficult in today’s college basketball world.
What an effort by the ladies. They know how to play defense that’s for sure. Their defense will make them a tough out, especially if they can stay out of foul trouble. Terrific all the way around!
Hey Bluesman, any sightings today of past Redhawk hoopers…..besides of course Ron?
Sorry I wasn’t there. I watched from St Louis. It was too far for a one day trip, and I have some health issues where I have to watch how far I drive in a day right now.
Oh, I’m so sorry….didn’t realize. I agreed with all your posts. A new standard has been set for the program yet once again. Coach Box eluded to his in the post presser. Personally looking forward to next year, but first even the possible “top 16” home site match-ups so our fan base can attend. Columbus, Ann Arbor, Louisville and now I see Morgantown are possibilities, I believe.
@MotherMiami I watched the game with two of the greatest Miami hoopers of all time, Mary Ann Myers and Kris Livingston, both in the Miami HOF.
No need to apologize!
