A little bit frenetic on offense the last couple of possessions. It’s hard to switch gears, but they need to be a bit more relaxed and controlled with the ball after those high-intensity defensive efforts.
And Sakono and Taylor promptly turned it over which is why the immediately came out. I know how Glenn coaches.

16-6 Miami after first quarter. A little sloppy once subs came in and Miami lost offensive flow but defensive intensity outstanding. The double dribble call on Singer was horrible.
6 turnovers first quarter for Miami is 6 too many. They weren’t forced either. Just sloppy.

The defensive coverage on the Toledo center is hilarious, but based on the mid range jumper from earlier it’s completely justified.

23-6 Miami. Miami defense as always is swarming intensity with a capital I.
That girl can’t shoot from the outside so Devries is guarding the paint. My wife commented on it and I told her Miami has a scouting report on each Toledo player and know she can’t shoot from outside.
Maybe they should schedule every game for 10/11am😂

28-16 Miami at the half. Only 2 Miami turnovers second quarter but we missed several shots last 5 minutes.
Sloppy at the end but overall great first half!
Glenn commented he is fine playing earlier. Miami hasn’t done well in evening games and Glenn hates sitting at the hotel all day!!

Singer, Scalia and Devries with 8 each. Miami shooting 46.4% Toledo 22.7%. Miami’s offensive stalled a bit when Tretter picked up her 2nd foul and had to go to the bench. Miami had the lead on the boards but Toledo now up 20-17 on that stat.
I’m at tee ball and can’t watch, so I’m glad we’ve got coverage here. Go Hawks!
As well as Miami has played defensively, offensively only scored 12 second quarter. Toledo scored 10. We need a strong first 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter. Push this lead back up close to 20 and make Toledo rush everything.
The lead should be more than 12 but I’ll take the 12-point advantage.

Give Toledo credit, they are playing much better 3rd quarter. No turnovers. Miami D has had some holes. Offensively absent 2 Tretter threes and a couple layups Miami not really crisp. And Singer out with 3 fouls. That hurts. 40-29 with 4:42 in 3rd quarter. Miami ball out of the timeout. We need to keep this lead above 10 heading to 4th quarter.
Scalia, Tretter and Devries in double digits. Singer with 8. But Jurjo and Gonzalez held scoreless.
