Woidke as a freshman is a lot better than Ipsaro as a freshman. All the stats (standard and advanced) are actually lopsided in Woidke favor. He’s very athletic and strong. He is not a poor man’s Evan by any stretch. He is legit. This Kent team is very talented offensively. On the road this will be our most difficult game to date by a lot.

Kent state is near the bottom of d1 in 3 point defense, we’ve gotta take 50 3 pointers

Hopefully we are making most of those!

Have to win this game because you know the rankers are just itching to unrank us.

I wish I had YN5’s eternal optimism or supply of happy pills, but this one will be tough. I hope the boys come to play!

If they don’t it will be a very short stay in the Top 25!

ChatGPT analysis of these, plus ESPN data. This has helped me achieve a small net loss in sports betting in 2025!

Miami’s offense is elite and sustainable, not a short-term shooting spike. Kent State’s edge is possession control and rebounding, but their defense is not strong enough to suppress Miami’s scoring for 40 minutes. This profiles as a high-scoring, late-possession game where Miami’s offensive ceiling matters more than Kent’s home-court stability.

Betting predictions:
• Best bet: Miami (OH) moneyline +110
• Lean: Over 167.5
• Projected final: Miami 87, Kent State 85
• Confidence: Moderate. High-variance game driven by shooting, not matchup dominance.

We have a really good team. We win by 6 points. Book it!

I believe the announcers said that the first 500 beers were on Senderhoff which honestly is pretty brilliant.

Early KSU announcer review seems like they are both competent.

Incredible start

Nice to know that they remembered how to miss a shot

Kent: Very good offensively, draw a lot of fouls, get second chances, and the ball moves a lot. At the same time, very bad on defense, commit a ton of fouls, and don’t rebound well.
