Both the men’s team and ladies team are top 100 in the country at the same time. That’s a colossal turn around. Great job by both coaches.

Could be worse. The duo when I was a student was John Cooper and Cleve Wright. We were in the trenches.

Would certainly agree with that, I shared your time. With coaches like Treadwell, Coop, and Cleve (plus early Martin) it’s half a miracle we still care about Miami sports.
To be fair, Cleve’s heart was in the right place, just better suited for Gannon than Miami.

I went to watch Cleve’s team at the UNCW thanksgiving tournament in 2016. We lost both games to other mid-majors in blowouts. We didn’t even play the host Seahawks. That team was bad.
Interestingly, he recruited the players who became the core of Megan Duffy’s two successful seasons. He never would have won with them.
I know someone quite well who played for Cleve. I know his issues. As I said, he was better suited for Gannon.
