OU on 15-0 run. Miami has scored 1 point in the second half. Miami has however turned the ball over 6 more times. Miami now has twice as many turnovers and field goals. Probably not a great recipe for success. So far, without question, the worst I have seen Miami play this year. Remember Miami beat OU by 20 at Millett. 49-32 OU.

Plus/minus numbers for Miami brutal. Tretter minus 27. Scalia minus 18. DeVries minus 13. Singer minus 2. Miami has 22 turnovers. OU 16 turnovers.
Miami tends to throw passes to far across the court and that gets them into trouble. OU up 66-50 with 6:46 to go. Miami playing a little better but OU is answering everything Miami is throwing at them. This game is getting more and more physical. This game has 42 combined turnovers.
Taylor has fouled out. Now Tretter has fouled out. With 5 minutes to play. 3 Miami players foul out. We only have 11 healthy players.
Miami loses 77-62. Miami had 25 turnovers leading to 30 OU points. Miami finishes conference play 16-2. 25-6 overall. Let’s just hope we don’t see another performance like this from Miami the rest of the year.

Got the clunker out of our system. Burn the tape, put in some good practices and play Miami basketball in Cleveland.

This was a collective team loss. I try in these thread comments to call it as I see it. Been many many years since my high school point guard days, but I still know what is good play and what is less than ideal. This game fell into the latter.
